Long story short, this building was built to accommodate the water on one side and the subway on the other. Impressive, eh?

Perhaps the most iconic locations in Chicago, I've always wanted to catch a bird's eye view. With my drone, I was able to catch one.

As I walked up to Navy Pier from Buckingham Fountain, I noticed this pier in Monroe Harbor where I could take a western view from what looked like I was in the water.

As I rode my Divvy bike along the shoreline, the sunrise was spectacular. This is Belmont Harbor.

The winds were wicked Saturday morning. This shot from the mouth of Diversy Harbor looking into the city gives you an idea of how rough the seas were.

Being near Wrigley when the Cubs win is an electric experience, even if you are a Cards fan.

For all my Cub friends, we were a Cub fan on this day.

56 years old and this was the first time I'd seen a cotton field. After growing up in the Midwest with nothing but beans and corn, this was a welcome experience.

Susan Haefele drove 2 hours over from Mobile to see us while we were in Destin. It was great catching up with an old friend.
